## What is MCP?

The [Model Context Protocol](https://modelcontextprotocol.io) is an open standard that enables AI assistants to securely connect to external data sources and tools. Asana's official MCP server lets you interact with your Asana workspace through natural language—create tasks, search projects, analyze workload, and more—all from your preferred AI platform.
